Scratch Intro
There is 10 tabs of scripts that you can code. There is 15 categories of costumes.There is 8 categories of sounds. You can upload your own backdrop or you can edit the templates / pre-made backdrops. You can move the sprites around, glide them, rotate them, and have them change costumes.

HTML Lesson 6 - 4 Images
These are the images I edited and put on my Thanksgiving webpage. I edited the mashed potatoes, pie, stuffing and turkey by adding faces to them. I also added a hat to the turkey. For all of these images, I brightened and clarified them.

HTML Quiz

Using X-Ray Goggles
Using the X-Ray goggles, I changed the date on the NYT website to "November 67th, 3000".
Also, on Google I changed the "Google Search" bar to say "Allie Search"
Lastly on Edline I changed the "Home" tab to "Hello!"

Reflection on Artificial Intelligence Programs
The main problem with the functionality of these programs is that the bots just keep repeating themselves. For instance, Eliza would say "Tell me more..." over and over again even if there was nothing else to say. Also, some of these bots just say random things. For example, Alice asked me how I was and I replied with "Good." and she replied with "Thanks for the compliment." Some of the things they say just doesn't make sense, and it isn't actual conversing, it's just them repeating, quoting, or saying random things.

Viewing/Observing People's Blogs
I have observed other people's blogs and I have noticed a few things. Firstly, I noticed that some people really challenged themselves and made extremely advanced designs, while others like myself preferred to stay in their comfort zones. Another thing I noticed is that everyone interpreted the dog design in their own way as well. For instance, Michelle decided to add ears and a collar to the dog, and I made the tail shorter than it was on the website because I just felt that it looked better. I learned and observed that the people on my blog list have different comfort zones, and all of them have varying creative sides as well.

Virtual Rug
This is the virtual rug I chose to re-create. I have progressed through design 1, 2, and 3 by learning different techniques. For the first design I only did the point technique. For the second design I did the point technique and learned how to do the line technique, and lastly for the third design I did the point, line, and I learned how to do the triangle technique.

Virtual Basket Weaving
This is the virtual basket I chose to re-create. To create this, I used both the point and line technique. For the beige fill and the brown lines at the top and bottom of the basket, I used the line technique. For the dog, I used the point technique. A challenge I had was removing the weaves and then re-adding them if I had to, because sometimes I would place the wrong color.

Current Event: 'Hero' Umpqua Community College Student Chris Mintz Speaks After Being Shot 7 Times
Yesterday, October first, there was a school shooting at a community college that killed 10 and 7 were injured. One brave man, Chriz Mintz, was shot 7 times and broke both his legs while informing others about the shooter and pulling the alarms to get everyone out of the building. After he was shot, he is now recovering well in the hospital, and has spoken.
