Student Game FINAL Reflections

KAYLA 

Name: Final Project
Purpose: Maze
Scoring: Subtracts points of you hit wall, adds points if you finish maze
Different: She used color sensing
Difficulty: It was moderate to hard
Enjoy?: Yes, I liked the sprites too

MICHELLE

Name: Midterm Game
Purpose: Catch bananas in barrel
Scoring: Adds points of you catch bananas
Timing: Counts down from a minute
Different: Really cool backgrounds and sprites, used more sensing
Difficulty: It was easy to hard
Enjoy?: Yes, I really cool game and backgrounds

JAMES

Name: Final project
Purpose: Run away from predator
Timing: Counts down from 30 seconds
Different: Used the "follow mouse" code
Difficulty: It was easy to hard
Enjoy?: Yes, I really liked the idea of it

FINAL Reflection


      • How you began the layout of the game?

I began the layout by adding 3 different backgrounds and 1 sprite with 3 different costumes.



      • How you worked through problems and what problems did you have?

One problem I had was trying to get the music to play, but I figured out I just had to add that code before everything else.



      • How you tested it?

I tested my game by having one of my friends play it at home and give me feedback.



      • Did it work as you intended?

Yes it worked as I intended and actually turned out better than I expected.



      • What are you most proud of in your game?

I am most proud of the New Years level, because I added my own fireworks to it and made the sprite move in that level as well.



      • What are you disappointed with, if anything?

I wish I could have used pictures of fireworks but it wouldn't let me add them without the white background against them.

Mid-Term Project Storyboard

Purpose: How many times can you click a button within a certain amount of time

Sprites: 1 button, 3 costumes

Backgrounds: 3 backgrounds, Christmas themed, Halloween themed, Thanksgiving themed

Scoring: each click= 1 click

Timing: Time sets to 30 seconds, on second level changes to 20 seconds, third level changes to 10
seconds, all count down

Win: Says "congratulations" or something holiday themed when you complete a level, when done
with game try to beat your high score

Levels: 3 levels, each changes holiday

Difficulty: Gives less amount of time to clock on each level
